The Box Hill Hockey Club and the Kew Hockey Club have officially merged, forming the KBH Brumbies.
The move comes at an exciting time for hockey in the eastern suburbs, with an extensive redevelopment to be undertaken in 2016 to the new clubs’ home ground, Elgar Park. Along with a new hybrid surface to be laid. Elgar will also enjoy a full redevelopment of the existing clubrooms and facilities commencing 2016/7.
Combined the club has over 40 teams increasing the opportunities for all. In the junior ranks with over 20 teams that provide girls only options at every age group, and mixed at every grade and age group. The senior sides also have increased depth across all areas from Metro to VL1 to Masters with the VL1 sides chomping at the bit to earn a place in the 2017 Premier League competition
With a new identity, a new pitch and new clubrooms to come, the KBH Brumbies are poised to for a bright future.
