Presidents Report

Happy New Year one and all and I hope you’re refreshed and ready for a big year.

As you can see from the attached photos work is well under way at Elgar Park with the
old surface largely removed, and the civil works under way to re-grade levels for the
new surface. At this stage we anticipate the pitch to be finished in late March and ready
for play early April, but the final date will depend on weather and progress in coming
weeks.

In the meantime training will continue at Koonung High School.

Website

Our new website has been developed by Evoke IT (run by our own Sher Singh a.k.a Sunny). The web
site is now up and running at kbhbrumbies.org.au, and is a fresh new look with links to
social media and an inbuilt calendar. The team is busy populating with content and this
will mature over time.

Hooked in 2 Hockey (HI2H)

For anyone who wants to give hockey a try, or who knows someone who is considering
hockey for their kids, the Brumbies HI2H programme starts February 21st, 10am, at
Koonung. This programme will run for 10 sessions, each Wednesday (5pm) and Sunday
(10am) after that. Cost is $80/child, and includes a starter pack of stick/ball/Shin pads.
Please email juniorsvp@kbhbrumbies.org.au with any further queries, or register on-line.

Season Opening Day/Rego Day – February 21st 11am-2pm
To kick off 2016 the Season opening day will be held Feb 21st at Koonung – 11am to
2pm. Info on 2016 registration, uniforms, training times etc will be available as well as a
BBQ and some game action on the field.

Come down and meet your club mates, relax and see what’s going on.

A formal club and ground launch will follow on the 10th April for the first VL home games,
so watch this space.

KBH Brumbies 2016 Registration

Our online registrations for 2016 open February 1st, and further information is contained

(umpires, tech bench officials and general running costs). Hockey Victoria has also
increased its registration fees this year to be include entry fees for the SNHC as well as

When registering it is important you register and pay for the HV registration and also the
club fees. Un-financial players at round 1 will not be eligible for selection.

The entire registration process, including payment is online this year. You must register

In addition, for 2016 HV introduced two (2) additional memberships;
